Four weeks to go!

We're approaching the final weeks of the ETS Assessment Games Challenge. It's not too late to get started — check out the Quick-Start Guide, dive into the Learning Progressions (still not sure what they are? See this great explanation from our last update), and begin building your K–12 math assessment task in the form of a game.

One Grand Prize winner will receive $7,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to showcase the winning project at an ETS Learning and Games demo space in Princeton, N.J. Additionally, the winner will have the opportunity to discuss the ideas behind the entry with the Vice President of Research at ETS. Three runners-up will also receive all-expenses-paid trips to showcase their winning projects in Princeton and will meet with the VP of Research.

If you've already started working on a submission, here are some reminders to help you make sure your entry is complete.

Submission Checklist

  1. Finish your submission video — check out these tips on how to make one.
  2. Finalize the name of your math task.
  3. Write a summary of your submission (including a description of its functionality and uses).
  4. Decide on which image(s) to include.
  5. Review the How to Enter section under the rules and the Enter an Application page one more time, to make sure you have the required items ready to go by August 18.
